该设备由中国铁路哈尔滨局集团有限公司旗下哈尔滨铁路工业集团有限公司哈装备公司自主研发，一台亮黄色钢轨打磨车以40公里时速飞驰而过，填补了国内地铁专用多磨头高效打磨车的技术空白，将为城市轨道交通钢轨养护提供全新解决方案。
